Who owns my domain?
You do. The domain is registered in your name as the registrant. We don't register customer domains under our own name.
How does registration work?
Search a name, choose a term, enter your details and pay. A domain is only shown as yours once the registrar has confirmed the registration.
What happens when my domain is due for renewal?
Renewal prices are shown before you buy. We send reminders before expiry and, if you turn on auto-renew, show the amount and ask for your consent first.
Can I transfer a domain I already own?
Yes, where the extension allows it. You'll need the transfer (EPP) code from your current registrar.
Can I manage DNS?
Yes. You'll be able to manage A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV and CAA records, and update nameservers.
How is my account protected?
Two-factor authentication, domain locking where supported, and extra checks for sensitive changes. No service can promise absolute protection, but these steps reduce risk.
Can I pay with Mobile Money?
That's the goal: MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash and AirtelTigo Money, plus cards. Each method is switched on only after it has been connected and tested.
What if my domain expires?
Depending on the extension there may be a recovery period, sometimes with extra fees. We'll explain your options and deadlines for the specific domain.
